Five ways to celebrate Teen Read Week!

1. Read

Read for fun! The HPHS library will have salty and sweet snacks to make reading even more pleasurable. Enter the designated Teen Read Area during lunch the Week of October 13-18th for your enjoyment

2. Vote

Check out the latest book display for the titles nominated for the Teen’s Top Ten and pick your favorite.  For a list and description of the nominated books see this document or the YALSA YouTube channel and go to the voting web site before October 20th.

3. Tweet

HPHS Library is rewarding the best Teen Read Week tweet with free printing. Your Tweet must contain a photo of a book spine poem to qualify.  See this Website for example poems and this flyer for contest details.

4. Compete

There are two ways to win during Teen Read week. Listen to the announcements for the trivia contest and/or look for the Famous First Line flyers around campus. If you notice a paper with the Teen Read Week logo and a quote of the first line of a well-known novel, bring it to the library and tell us the name of the book and win instantly.

5. Serve

Looking to help HPHS Library and gain leadership experience? Sign up to serve on our Advisory Board in the reading area during Teen Read Week.
